This is our AKC male, a 6 1/2 year old parti color silver and white boy. He has a very nice pedigree going back to AKC solid show lines that most parti colors don't have behind them. He is a kind, sweet dog with a gentle quite nature.
Hopefully soon AKC will allow parti color AKC dogs to show again in confirmation. If anyone looks back in the history of poodles, almost all had white on their feet and chest if not more. There were parti color poodles from the beginning of purebred poodles.  A few AKC breeders over the past few decades have decided if white pops up on the puppies (which almost every breeder that shows has had happen) then they don't breed to that dog anymore, trying to get rid of the ones that throw the spots. The white spots are there behind every AKC poodle. Parti color poodles have been purebred poodles for hundreds of years just as well as the solids. They are allowed to be registerd as AKC poodles same as the solids. They can show in Agility, obedience, field and tracking or hunting trials. SO why not in confirmation? They are poodles of another color but still the same poodles as we all see at the shows. I believe soon parti's will be able to show AKC confirmation again. UKC allows parti colors to be shown confirmation and become champions.
We have had solid show dogs that are great with many thankfully getting old now and still healthy. We are excited to add parti colors to our breeding program. We don't breed often and are very concerned to breed healthy standards with great temperments.
